Realization of the better communication possibilities by implementing co-temporal privileges of the information communication technologies (ICT), government of Nepal (GoN) is intending to facilitate its public, providing e- Governance by developing and deploying different kind of ICT projects. Some of them are as follows.
A telecentre is a public place where people can access computers, the Internet, and other digital technologies that enable them to gather information, create, learn, and communicate with others while they develop essential digital skills. While each telecentre is different, their common focus is on the use of digital technologies to support community, economic, educational, and social development—reducing isolation, bridging the digital divide, promoting health issues, creating economic opportunities, and reaching out to youth are the example of telecenter objective.
Telecentres exist in almost every country, although they sometimes go by a different name: public Internet access center (PIAP), village knowledge center, info center, community technology center (CTC), community multimedia center (CMC), multipurpose community telecentre (MCT), Common/Citizen Service Centre (CSC), school-based telecentre etc. like this Nepal post introduce telenter as postal information center(PIC).
Nepal post provides email, Internet, photocopy, printing, scanning, lamination, phone, fax and computer training etc service from PIC. Now, Nepal post trying to develop all existing 401 PIC as a rural information center to provide information about tourism, agriculture, education, health etc.

E- Post has been introduced in following three post offices as:
To improve Quality of service, Nepal Post starts counter automation service using counter automation system software. Using this system, Nepal post trying to provide faster and reliable registration process. It improves the quality to letter, insurance, EMS and parcel registration process. Nepal post provides counter automation service from 19-district post office.
Nepal post also starts to use postal service bank management software for transaction management (deposit, withdraw), loan management and report generation. To manage international mail accounting system Nepal post use international mail accounting system software. Information about Letter card and other article (LC/AO), EMS service, parcel, airlines etc are the main part of this software.
